What Sushi Near Me is

One job: help you find a good sushi restaurant near wherever you are. Every listing shows the restaurant's name, address, public rating and review count, and whether it is currently open for business. City pages rank the places worth knowing about; the map lets you explore by neighborhood; and the guides cover the questions people actually ask — omakase versus regular sushi, what all-you-can-eat really costs, how to order.

We are not a review site and we do not accept payment for ratings. Sponsored placements exist and are always labeled as sponsored.

How we keep it honest

• Only verified sushi. A restaurant appears only if its category data confirms it is a sushi, Japanese, or poke establishment. Everything else — even if it once sat in our records — is excluded.
• Only real, active businesses. Listings are removed when a restaurant closes; the count on this page is the count we serve, never rounded up.
• Only cities with enough to show. A city page exists only when there are at least five verified restaurants to rank. Below that, we would rather show you the map than a thin page.
• Corrections are welcome. Restaurant owners can claim and correct their listing; anyone can email us about an error and we will fix it.

What we removed, and why

In July 2026 we audited the whole site and cut most of it. Thousands of city pages with only a handful of listings, hundreds of near-duplicate guides, and every listing that was not verifiably a sushi restaurant were removed. More than half of the raw records we had collected over the years were not sushi at all. What remains is 16,000+ verified restaurants, and a few hundred pages instead of thousands — each one there because it earns its place.

We did it because a directory is only useful if every page on it is. A smaller site that is right beats a bigger one that is padded.

Who runs it

Sushi Near Me is built and maintained by SilverWolf Software, a software studio in Houston, Texas that builds local-discovery tools and maps for businesses and communities. Sushi Near Me is our own product: we run it, we host it, and we answer for what is on it.

The maps are ours too — served from our own map platform rather than a third-party map provider, which is why they load fast and cost nothing to explore.
